Why a take a photo daily?

I live in Austin, Texas.  I am pretty fortunate to have a very full life with work and family. I love running, biking, cooking, scuba diving, and shooting pictures (of course). The goal of this blog is to keep my camera(s) in my hand everyday and get that one shot that somehow captures a moment in time for that day. Kind of a Daily Photography Journal. I have a Nikon D7000 & a Nikon D60 with a 18-50, 18-105mm VR & 55-200 Lens. I also have a AF-S VR-Nikkor 70-200mm Lens, 35mm f/1.8, and a AF-S VR Nikkor 105mm f/2.8G for Macros.

A few years back, I did this project in a "Just Shoot Me" Blog.  I took a picture everyday for over two years. What I found was that I looked at everything differently and my photography improved. Not every photo was one I would post on my professional photography site, but it was a photo journal of my days. I miss that. My rule is simple...I have to take a photo everyday.  Posting may lag a bit, but the photo must be posted on the actual day it was taken.

So off I go again on a daily photo journey. Follow if you like...but it is as much of a personal challenge as a public one!
