So tired tonight.  Came home and took out my earrings and threw them on the desk.

After a bit a the computer I looked down and noticed what great texture these earrings have and it was even made better as they laid on the teak wood.

No wonder they are my favorite pair!

Working on the "bird flying" photochallenge for the week.  Went to a local pond.

The sun was still rather bright around 4:00.  However, I like this photo because of the way the sun is highlighting the goose's neck and wing and the water beads on his chest.

Shot with my new 18-200 Lens tonight after work.  I have been wanting that lens for awhile.

With a little natural light left on my back porch I shot some photos of some flowers a friend gave me at work.  A few "tears" on those flowers for some coworkers today as they lost their jobs due to some consolidations.  I am thinking of them and their families tonight.

Made the choice to do a macro shot today.  Camera is balancing off a champagne glass in my back yard full of grass and leaves.  Will work this again tomorrow!

Underwater on Highway 183 - Day 45

Today on my way home from work, I had to get off a few exits early because of an accident.  I have been this way before...but not in awhile.  On the wall of what was an unamazing closed used office furniture building was this.   I was amazed.  I had to pull.in and take a few pictures.  You are just getting a taste of this.  There was a pirate ship with canons, scuba divers, sea creatures....

All the schools cancelled classes last night and my office closed this morning in anticipation of 

freezing rain that never happened.  My co-workers in states up north just shake their heads in amazement.Worked from home as one of the kittens stood watch on the the weather report to keep me updated.

 Number 14/100 for my Stranger Project.

I was in the DFW Airport waiting for a flight, when I spotted a women wearing a signed John Elway jersey. Today in the US is Super Bowl Sunday, the Seattle Seahawks and Denver Broncos play. Although, John Elway has not played for Denver in awhile, Alma didn't care as the Broncos are her team even though she lives in Arcadia, California.

She was with some coworkers and has been in Dallas at a Dental convention. She was nice enough to stop for a moment to participate in this project!
